is this better than the Form2? it is many years old... is it old technology? there are a lot of new printers!
can you plz contact me about the price and more explaning about the machine
this printer is a joke. the model are not castable and most sales reps will mislead you into believing that they are. more than that, the printing is not accurate at all. small details like prongs, pinpoints or holes for small stones always come out warped. you can't make regular rubber molds from this plastic - only silicon. at $20 per mold with horrible warping i might as well pay for a wax model and cast it directly
"All the extra material you can poor back in and re-use" - That's bullshit, printing an object will leave small debris (very small cured pieces of layers) which need to be filtered out before you can re-use what's left from the previous print. If you don't filter this out you will begin to get failed prints because the debris will block the laser that's supposed to cure a new layer and it will create a tear in your new print. Also: "Very easy to use" - NO SLA PRINTER IS EASY TO USE. Trust me, I have a couple different sla printers here and SLA printing requires a big learning-curve. Lastly: "It keeps very clean" - SLA is-a-mess. Don't wear your new clothes when working, make a separate corner in your workplace for it and put it in a well-ventilated place because resin is toxic and it will get anywhere.
Dental mechanics use this printers..why? Because they no longer cast metals..Today technology allows dentistry to press cast ceramics instead of metals..a totally different technology...pressable ceramics are not melted by or cast by torch..or induction melting!!! this is why they can use projet 12oo with visijet resin..but you...jewellery caster ..well you are in for a ride my friend..this is CRAPPOLA !!
What a bunch of crap...This guy should be selling Snake oil...please don't even think of buying this printer is too good to be true!! please save your $$$$$
